Biblos 'Alpha' is a publishing house in the Ukraine run by volunteer Christians. Over the last 10 years many volumes have been translated into Russian and distributed mainly throughout Ukraine, but also Russia. The vision is to find contacts is Russia and Siberia where the expected demand for good reformed literature will be high. Translations of Martin Lloyd-Jones are devoured avidly. Pastors are hungry for the theological resources that western pastors take for granted.
Among the staff are those who have spent time in prison for their faith. They are aware of many Christians in Siberia who having emerged from prison camps and with neither the will nor the wherewithall to return back home ( thousands of miles maybe for some) who have settled in the far reaches and established local churches. THese Christian brethren need our support and assistance. Biblos is doing its utmost to somehow find these 'lost' Christians.
THere are communities of Russian-speakers in other countries such as Germany (Through 3Lverlag), Israel and the USA. We are endeavouring to establish links to evangelise and support Christians among them with good literature.
